Suzhou, Here I Come

Will be on my way to China, Suzhou in a couple of days' time. Attached to Solectron for 22 weeks, working on Mondays to Thursdays, studying in Soo Chow University on Fridays and Saturdays. Looking forward to it as the day draws nearer, it's a new start, a new experience awaiting me there. Fears of not being able to adapt well to the food, environment, weather, culture etc remains until i'm there.

Going to miss my family, little Tessa (crossing fingers dat she will still remember me when i'm back), my dear friends and of cos, my bed and bolster. It's going to be challenging task ahead of me as i'm prone to homesick...haha....i miss home even when i bunked in hostel for only 3 weeks! Going to force myself to be stronger and more independent and i want come back as a different cherlyn. No longer the blur or nice-to-bully cherlyn...haha...

Really want to thank all the friends who took the time out to meet me for a meal or chit-chat before i leave. Thanx to friends who offered to send me off at the airport. Thanx to friends who offered to send me and my heavy luggage to the airport. Thanx to friends who offered their kind advices about my trip. Thanx to friends who helped me along the way while i was preparing for the trip. Thanx for frends who offered kind words like 'bon voyage', 'take care' etc. Really starting to treasure friendships now. Friends who are always there to help whenever u need them.

Will try to take as much photos as possible when i'm there. Heard Suzhou's famous for its sceneries!
