When 2 binds together...

My cousin, William, got ROM-ed today, 22 Dec 2005 at Vansh. An indian restaurant situated at Stadium Waterfront. Not a typical indian restaurant as wat u might be thinking now...its really a restaurant with really cool and trendy decor and nice ambience! When i stepped into it, it totally changed my opinion of an indian restaurant and was thinking to myself, "Are u sure this is an indian restaurant? Did i get the wrong info?" I have been to one before, a typical one, and this is such a different feeling!

Anyway, there was already quite a crowd when i reached there, abt 60 i heard. Saw the eye-catching bride, Grace, in her small, cute blue dress with her matching high heels (with a little feather behind) and her 复古 hairdo. It was an entirely different look but i think the hairdo dun really suit her...she could have been prettier i'm sure. But who cares? The 幸福 look on radiant face tells it all and im really happy for her and my cousin. Next, saw my cousin...yet another on-cloud-nine face...haha...i love going to weddings and ROM gathering!! Love to see couples so happy together with so many ppl coming to give them their heartfelt blessings.

The waiters then went around serving guests with drinks and some fingerfood while we were busy mingling around and taking photos. The fingerfood was nice! Saw my cousin's colleague and recognised her cos i temp-ed there for abt a mth before about 7 years ago, before i entered poly. She couldn't recognise or remember me even after my cousin told her who i was. Fortunately, she eventually remembered and said i slimmed down alot (and she meant it)!! haha...so happy...

Up next is the climax of the whole function, the solemnisation. The whole vow taking ceremony was really sweet. The bride walked down the 'aisle' with her dad with dat 幸福 look again. During the vow-taking, the usual "I do" or "I will" was really touching. Saw my cousin looking so lovingly and sweetly at his wife many times when they were taking the vow and i know at dat instant that he will observe this simple but most important vow for the rest of his life. Wat a sweet and touching moment, isn't it? But all the while, my little cute niece, Tessa, was snatching the limelight with her exaggerated reaction to the bubble-making machine. She was so hyper-active throughout the whole function...walking up and down the restaurant the whole time and of cos, eating the whole time.

Then comes the buffet lunch. It was an entirely different experience with a different cuisine. Took abit of everything cos I don't understand the labels! Until now i dunno if i mixed the correct food with the correct sauce but it's ok, on the overall, i think the food was nice, juz abit salty for certain dishes.

It was a nice and sweet experience afterall. Thanx William and Grace!
