Pursue your Dream!

After much pestering from my friend to write another blog, i have finally decided to grant her wish and remove her from the misery of coming into face with my same old 1st attempt. Rejected her initially with excuses like "no time lar", "nothing to write". Though the contents-to-be of this blog is still NULL, i will continue to type words my mind and fingers bring me to. In front of me are my tutorials for the week. TuToRiAlS!! sianz....though tutorials are meant to be consistent revisions for me, its so frustrating when the doing actually starts. Seems to understand the lectures but tutorials are always killing me, for i can spend hrs on 1 tutorial and not half of it was done. All right, since im now talking abt my boring tutorials, let mi complain abit more abt my school work.

A current NTU Year 2 Computer Engineering(CE) student, still struggling her way through her lectures, tutorials and labs. (Though its only the 1st week, i can foresee these happening) Engineering has never been my cup of tea, not to mention dreaming of studying it. Anyway, engineering stuff is always a '??' thingy for gals isn't it? Indeed, i dreamt of studying in a local uni, but definitely not in a 'watever-engineering' course. Well, it juz so happened dat i graduated from TP with a Dip in IT, and CE was the only relevant course i could go to in NTU. So, here i am, so 'bravely' trying to strape through the 4 yrs to graduate with a degree (and im not even considering a honours though its a direct honours course). Brave enough to accept a uni course without any slight background of engineering, chasing frantically after the fast pace progression of lectures, tut, labs and end up getting everything so confused with countless ???s for all modules (except programming). Ain't i courageous?? haha...

People will ask,"Then y accept this course in the 1st place?" Well, it wasn't an immediate acceptance to my place offered in NTU. After some hesitation, i thought it is only fair that i give myself a try to pursue this degree before rejecting it. I believe that time should not be wasted on stuff which are not directed towards our goal or mission. Just as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. exclaims, "I have a dream!" In case u r not aware, his dream at that time (1963) was the equality & justice of all people in America irregardless of their colour. People are supposed to possess a big dream which they want to pursue. And mine?? Still thinking....

Please think abt urs too!!!
